Load the same movie file both of you already have. Play, pause and seeking stay in sync.
Both people pick the same file locally and enter the same room code. Nothing is uploaded — only small timing messages pass through the sync server. Best results: use an .mp4 file at 1080p or lower — heavier/4K files can overwhelm weaker devices, and no sync setting can fix that.
